She describes Wellness Cuisine as “...a new kind of medicine with the goal of keeping people healthy and preventing illness. A balance of nutrients with a focus on quality and wholesome ingredients. Extensive knowledge, a passion for health and wellness, an immense talent for culinary creativity explain Chef Laurie’s great success in her 25 years of cooking professionally. Her recipes have appeared in Family Circle Magazine, The Boston Globe and Spa magazine. She has been featured on NBC’s Today Show, PBS and The Travel Channel’s Epicurious. Her gift for inspiring people to cook became apparent while teaching cooking classes to guests of Canyon Ranch. Chef Laurie’s mission: help people find their way back into the kitchen, where true health begins.
